60 Joint Personnel Secure Homecoming Flow in Pulogebang Terminal

As many as 60 joint personnel from TNI, police, and Transportation Department are ready to secure Pulogebang Terminal along this Eid ul Fitr 1435 Hijri homecoming season.

“We put 60 personnel from Kodam Jaya Garrison, East Jakarta Metro Resort Police, and Jakarta Transportation Department on standby to secure homecoming flow,” stated Head of Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), Tiodor Sianturi, Tuesday (7/15).

According to Sianturi, these joint personnel will help regulating the traffic and security inside as well as outside the terminal. They will also sterilize the bus lanes on Jalan Komarudin east side of JORR Toll until Cakung Barat and Cakung Timur toll gates from street vendors and illegal parking.

At this time, some banners informing Pulogebang Terminal operational have been installed. And in D-7 Eid, healthcare post and integrated posts will be established. Later, bus crews will have their urine tested in the healthcare post, while the buses will be checked their worthiness by Jakarta Transportation Department Motor Vehicles Testing UPT.

“All buses serving homecomers are obligated to undergo road worthiness (KIR) test on the first floor. If declared passed the tests, they will go up to the second floor to departure corridor. Bus crews are also obligated to undergo healthcare test and urine test done by Jakarta Health Department and Jakarta Province Narcotics Board (BNP),” he uttered.

Sianturi told there are six autobus companies (PO) ready to serve homecomers, namely PO Pahala Kencana (Jakarta-Madura), PO Safari Dharma Raya (Jakarta-Yogyakarta), PO Sinar Jaya (Jakarta- Purwokerto), PO Bintang Permata (Jakarta-Pekalongan), PO Kramat Jati (Jakarta-Surabaya-Madura), and PO Laju Prima (Jakarta-Palembang-Jambi). The departing hours are Jakarta-Madura 8.30 AM and 9.30 AM, Jakarta-Pamekasan 10.30 AM, Jakarta-Sampang 12.30 PM and 1.30 PM, Jakarta-Ponorogo 2 PM, Jakarta-Bojonegoro 2.30 PM, Jakarta-Malang 3 PM, Jakarta-Yogyakarta 3.30 PM, Jakarta-Lasem pukul 4.30 PM, and Jakarta-Wonosobo 4.30 PM.
